SEPTEMBER 2018 - SELF-AWARENESS

Before we can reflect on and grow from our experiences, we need to first become aware of what is true for us right now. Take a moment to pause and check-in with yourself.

What thoughts dominate your mind right now?

What emotions (if any) are present for you?

How does your body feel in this moment?

Bring an attitude of openness and curiosity to what you observe and let go of any judgments about how things “should” be. When you can be truly aware of and accepting of how things actually are for you right now, you can then move forward with clarity and perspective.
